Cox Wireless coming to Topeka, Wichita

WICHITA -- Cox Communications announced Wednesday that it will soon introduce wireless voice and data service in Topeka and Wichita.

Cox is the first U.S. cable company to launch fully-integrated wireless voice and data services, according to a statement released by the company.

Cox Wireless is currently available in: Orange County, Calif.; Hampton Roads, Va.; Omaha, Neb.; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla.; Cleveland; Rhode Island; and communities Cox serves in Connecticut.

Consumers in Topeka and Wichita are encouraged to register at www.unbelievablyfair.com to be among the first to learn more about the plans, devices and offers. Those who register on the site will also receive a free video reward.

Cox will also introduce a new retail outlets in Topeka and Wichita.

Cox officials said consumers "can expect a more dynamic and hands-on experience to complement the addition of Cox wireless."

Cox Solutions Stores will provide a personal, interactive one-stop-shopping retail experience for all communication and entertainment services.
