ROWLAND: Eatery changes name, theme
Goodbye, Scrambl'z. Hello, McHenry's Bar & Restaurant.
The new eatery opened in the spot of Scrambl'z Kountry Kitchen offering all-American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare with some extras. Former Scrambl'z owner Paul Dhillon owns McHenry's Bar & Restaurant, but the restaurant has been renovated and revamped inside and out.
The new McHenry's is part sports bar and family eatery. The inside has been redone with new paint, table and booths in a red, black and white color scheme. The restaurant has new staff and new head chefs.
Inderjit Pahal, the new general manager, said Dhillon felt it was time for a change. With the new name and management comes a new philosophy and direction, he said.
"We brought in a new concept," Pahal said. "We wanted something that was more with the times. The old business was a breakfast place, which was fine. But for this particular area, we needed something fresh and new."
The menu includes everything from Angus burgers, ribs and steaks to crab cakes, grilled salmon and pasta. And for those who miss the old place, breakfast is still served all day.
"We wanted to open a place with good quality food at good prices," Pahal said. "And if you want to watch the game, this is the place to watch the game."
The interior has more than 20 TVs as well as about eight large-screen projectors. The adjacent full bar also has several TVs with a sports-bar theme.
The site has capacity for about 300.
In April, Scrambl'z corrected and passed reinspection by the Stanislaus County Department of Environmental Resources after receiving several violations during food facility inspections.
The restaurant, which opened in 2005, closed shortly after and then reopened. Pahal said additional improvements have been made to equipment and the facility since.
McHenry's opened its doors Monday and is in a soft opening phase. Management plans to hold a grand opening in a few weeks.
McHenry's Bar & Restaurant, 1445 McHenry Ave., is open 7 a.m. to midnight every day, and could expand its weekend hours. For more, call (209) 522-6131.

MWW Automotive Expands Production Capacity
Based on the rapidly increasing demand for its products and services, the large number of new and upcoming projects and the nature of the industrial projects currently in the last stages of negotiation, MWW is in the process of adding a third complete production line, to its already existing two production lines, increasing the capacity to three complete Class A prep, paint and assembly lines. MWW has also increased the length of the two already existing paint lines adding an oversized paint booth and established additional oven capacity for increased production throughput and the processing of oversized components. To accommodate this increased production capacity, the Company has also placed into operation two new pro mix paint systems for greater color consistency, installed new computerized color matching system and will be launching a second production shift to increase capacity. To stay on the leading edge of production technology and accommodate new customers and processes, the Company has added Waterborne Paint Processing. This new paint system will allow MWW to add products, which require this kind of environmentally friendly paint and processing, to MWWs product portfolio. The increasing number of programs that have been awarded to us along with those still in negotiation for production to begin in the near and midterm future, have made this step necessary, states Chuck Pinkerton, the CEO of MWWAutomotive. Fortunately we have been preparing for this expansion for some time and have secured the necessary resources, such as the required equipment and skilled personnel far in advance. Accordingly, we are able to get this rather large expansion project up and running without having to spend significant resources and are able to commence production with a 2nd and if necessary 3rd production shift on a second production line quickly and when needed. Chuck Pinkerton states further: We have expedited this expansion in light of our advanced negotiations with our new industrial clients, whose products will not only require oversized production lines, but also a large percentage of our production capacity. We expect to finalize the negotiations and begin with the start-up procedures soon. We will make another announcement about the substantial size of these new projects as soon as we commence with production Headquartered in Howell, Michigan, with a Class A painting/assembly facilities in Baroda, Michigan, MWW Automotive Group (OTCQB:MWWC) delivers its in-house designed accessory products and Class A painting and assembly services directly to major global automobile and/or their Vehicle Processing Centers (VPC) and assembly lines in the United States, Canada and Europe.
